| Bio: | Hi. I'm Jonathan Gray, but please call me "WB" or "Dub" (which is my nickname) if you prefer. Sometimes we all need an outlet where we can **ahem** "bitch and moan on a daily basis". So here I am.
I'm a sequential artist in my mid twenties. I draw constantly (as you can see by my comic strips) and I'm usually bright and upbeat, silly and sometimes quiet sometimes not, without being nauseatingly chipper. I can also tend to be very introspective and tend to wander in my thoughts when things get over my head. I'm something of a romantic and a dreamer.
I read comic books frequently: Bone by Jeff Smith was a favorite of mine, Imported manga (Hitoshi Okuda's Tenchi series, Sgt. Frog [Keroro Gunso] and some others just for the artwork), I used to like DC Comics until the borked Impulse, had a gig for a while drawing Sonic the Hedgehog, but my first love was always Disney Comics. I immensely enjoy the works of Carl Barks, Don Rosa, William Van Horn, and Floyd Gottfredson. I'm heavily into all types of animation with Warner Bros./Cartoon Network currently as my favorite studio (hence my nickname). I listen to music quite frequently while I draw - primarily video game soundtracks, R&B, and old school rap & hip hop. Notice I said OLD SCHOOL and NOT current. I can't get into the mainstream or gangsta rap crap.
All in all I like to think of myself as your typical well rounded 20 something black kid with nothing better to do. :) And thats all for now. Love, peace, chicken grease, bow before the rubber chicken, etc etc etc. ^_^
