I'm in my late twenties, I draw constantly and I'm usually bright and very upbeat unless provoked repeatedly at which point I switch into generic angry black man mode and level the territory.
I'm something of a romantic and a dreamer.
I read comic books frequently: Bone by Jeff Smith was a favorite of mine. I usually buy manga only for the artwork if I like it. I used to like DC Comics until they borked Impulse so I'm not too big on mainstream comics unless they catch my eye. I'm currently drawing backups for Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie) and doing scripting/localization work for Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck (Disney). I listen to music quite frequently while I draw - primarily video game soundtracks (NERD), R&B, old school rap & hip hop. Notice I said OLD SCHOOL and NOT current. I can't get into the mainstream or gangsta rap crap.
I hail from beautiful Birmingham, Alabama and I currently attend the School of Visual Arts where I am doing my thesis and preparing for my graduates degree.
